SPECIALTY ECORE GYM FLOORING DEALER · NEWTON, MA

ECORE Gym Flooring Is Our Specialty

ConnectFit, at 84 Needham Street in Newton, MA, is a specialty ECORE gym flooring dealer. We design, supply and install ECORE gym flooring for condo, apartment, office and commercial fitness centers and for high-end home gyms across Greater Boston and New England.

Most fitness dealers treat flooring as an accessory: a stack of mats or interlocking tiles added at the end of the order. ConnectFit specializes in the serious side of ECORE gym flooring: multilayer rolled goods, stacked systems, woven-vinyl tops and acoustic tile, chosen for joint protection, sound control and how the room will actually be used.

Our founder, Norm Morrison, leaned into gym flooring decades ago, when most dealers avoided it because no one was installing it well. At what became the country's largest fitness equipment dealer, his Newton showroom alone handled 40% of the company's residential flooring.

ECORE works with ConnectFit as a specialty dealer and stands behind its product. When a client has needed a replacement, ECORE has made it right.

THE ECORE GYM FLOORING WE INSTALL

ECORE Gym Flooring Systems

Most of the ECORE gym flooring we install is multilayer and performance-grade, including in homes, because our builders and clients want better joint protection and acoustic performance than basic rubber can give.

  • ECORE Rally: our most-installed ECORE gym flooring, in rolls and 23" tiles, for strength and multipurpose training areas.
  • ECORE Bounce: a multilayer floor with more give, for studios and functional training.
  • ECORE Ebb and Flow: a woven-vinyl top over a performance base, for a finished look in studios, homes and amenity spaces.
  • ECORE DB Tile: acoustic tile for drop zones and upper-floor gyms where sound and vibration matter.
  • ECORE Motivate and Beast: multilayer floors matched to the room's training and budget.
  • ECORE turf and Shockpad underlay for sled lanes and extra impact control.

DESIGN AND INSTALLATION

How We Install ECORE Gym Flooring

  • Site visit first. We check the subfloor, measure the room and plan the layout around the equipment and how people will train.
  • The right ECORE gym flooring for the space. Rolls, tiles or a combination, with acoustic underlayment for upper floors and occupied buildings.
  • Custom-cut to the room to minimize seams and waste.
  • Installed by Working Wolfe, fitness-flooring specialists and our installation partner for more than 20 years. They know our standards and take care of our clients like their own, and many of the high-end builders we work with use them on their own projects, from Newton to Nantucket.
  • Scheduled around your building, its rules and its residents.

Because ConnectFit also designs and equips fitness rooms, we plan the ECORE gym flooring and the equipment together, from drop zones to treadmill placement, so the whole room works.

We install ECORE gym flooring across Greater Boston, MetroWest, the North and South Shores, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, New Hampshire and Maine.

QUESTIONS WE HEAR EVERY DAY

ECORE Gym Flooring FAQ

Where can I buy ECORE gym flooring near Boston?

At ConnectFit, 84 Needham Street, Newton, MA 02461 (617-535-3793). We are a specialty ECORE gym flooring dealer serving Greater Boston and New England, and we install what we sell.

Who installs ECORE gym flooring for condo and office fitness centers in Boston?

ConnectFit designs and installs ECORE gym flooring for condo, apartment, office and commercial fitness centers, with Working Wolfe, the fitness-flooring specialists who have been our installation partner for more than 20 years. We plan for sound and impact on the floors below, heavy daily use and building requirements.

Is stacked ECORE gym flooring better than basic rubber flooring?

Yes, for most fitness spaces. Stacked ECORE gym flooring bonds a hard wear surface to a softer engineered base. ECORE's testing shows standard 8mm hard rubber absorbs about 10.4% of impact energy, compared with 35.4% for stacked ECORE Rally, more than three times as much. That means less stress on joints, less equipment vibration and less noise to the rooms below, with no off-gassing. Basic rubber is durable and costs less, and we carry it, but it is the hardest on joints and does little for sound.

Is ECORE gym flooring a good choice for a home gym?

Yes. Many of our home clients choose the same multilayer ECORE gym flooring we install in facilities, such as Rally, Ebb and Flow or DB Tile, for better joint protection and quieter rooms.

Which ECORE gym flooring is best for an upper-floor or condo gym?

It depends on what happens in the room. Drop zones and heavy strength areas usually call for acoustic tile like ECORE DB Tile or a thicker multilayer floor over underlayment. We recommend a system after a site visit.

How is ECORE gym flooring installed?

After a site visit and subfloor check, we order material custom-cut to the room, and our installers loose-lay, glue or install it over acoustic underlayment, depending on the space and the building.

Can ConnectFit design the rest of the fitness room too?

Yes. We design and equip complete home gyms and commercial fitness centers, so the ECORE gym flooring, equipment, delivery, installation and service come from one team.
