Some Recent Design Work

Lexington Gym

When designing a basement gym, one of the basic mistakes is putting dark rubber matting down that eats the light.full room down
In this Lexington basement remodel, we used Ecore Bounce2 gym flooring, stacked with a forgiving rubber underlayment and a damage-resistant top layer.  It looks so good that they put it in the whole basement.

Some Hudson steel strength and pro-style dumbbells and a top level True Fitness treadmill, and we get a clean, bright and super functional space.

Brookline Hoist/Hudson Basement

This client, Scott, has been working with us for over a decade, but he's really got a commercial Level Hoist Fitness Gym in his basement, including the Hoist Cable cross, Leg Ext/Curl, and the ever popular Hudson Miami Gym.

Beverly on the Water

This space was done with SaltsmanBrenzel Builders, where we had a nice space overlooking the water.
They planned on some serious lifting, so we went with Ecore Rally in a Maroon color. This is in a number of NFL training rooms, so it can handle droppage and eats the noise.  Great for the joints as well.
