Ecore OSST flooring and PaviGym

One of the cool things about being a designer.. and working with designers.. are the little changes and improvements in the offerings.  I guess it gets into a kind of creative mindset where you start to find new options exciting.

For example Fitness flooring used to just be black hard rubber. Most of the stuff sold online still is just black hard smelly rubber, or variations of it.

However, ConnectFit works with two major industry leading Fitness floor brands. We're announcing our partnership with PaviGym, as their main dealer in New England, and we're also announcing Ecore's rollout of their Premium OSST flooring line.

Clients have responded very strongly to being able to design their gym like they do other rooms in the house, with different feels, and different color palettes. This blog entry continues along that path. Both of these companies use variations on the stacked flooring ideal with a softer underlay with different surfacing options that are harder. This allows a superior biomechanic with better give and better sound absorption while also allowing a lot of different looks.

PaviGym gives you one of the best known international class and innovative brands in the industry. They literally have. And if we want to have a Barbie pink gym, we can do that. Everything from your hardcore lifting Gym to a sunshine yellow Fitness space.pavi2
PaviGym does most of their gym flooring in interlocking tiles, which is very versatile, and is all in virgin rubber, odorless.
They even have their Prama option that allows a user to program lighting elements in the floor to guide a user or to work with music.

Ecore has been our primary flooring company since we opened, and we luckily got in while they were going through a growth.  1703788174-imagesFromCamera-2023-12-28T18_28_56.9580_0218So many new Ecore product lines have come out in the last four years! Their Ebb & Flow flooring is the favorite of a number of designers in Boston and in the cape for how it gives a real elegant spa feel.  It looks woven, but is in fact nearly indestructible nylon surfaced.  We've put this in high-end homes and studios all over.

Their new OSST line gives us real track and field options, a number of different actual wood grain Court options, as well as stone and marble looks.  And a full track lineup as well. And like most of the upper-end Ecore floors, this is a stacked floor with extra give underneath.images (2)
